Job offer for a Logistics in Portugal
This is what an offer for this role contains when an employer makes one. It is not an offer in itself, and nobody is offered a job before an employer has seen their assessment.
What the offer contains
- Employment contract
- A contract of up to 5 years with a Portuguese employer, signed before you leave.
- Accommodation
- Housing arranged and ready on arrival.
- Flights
- Your travel to Portugal, included.
- Meal allowance
- Paid with your salary, as Portuguese contracts do.
- Legal support
- The visa, the residence permit and the paperwork after arrival, handled with you throughout.
What the work is
Receiving, counting, storing and dispatching: linen for a managed portfolio, stock for kitchens, and the paperwork that says where everything went. It is the job where a small error becomes somebody else’s emergency three hours later.
WHAT EMPLOYERS LOOK FOR- Accurate counting
- Stock systems
- Lifting and pace
What this job offers
Typical for this trade in the placements we recruit for. The employer sets the figure and your contract is what counts.
- Monthly salary
- €920 to €1,150 gross, over 14 payments a year.
- Hours and days off
- Rotating shifts, with your days off set in the roster.
- Accommodation
- Guaranteed. Arranged before you travel and ready when you arrive.
- Meals
- A meal allowance, or meals on shift where the employer provides them.
- What you need
- Previous experience in the role, and English.
What Portuguese law guarantees
This is the floor the law sets for any job in Portugal, not what this particular job pays. The offer itself can be higher, and the contract you sign is what counts.
- Minimum wage
- €920 a month, gross
- Payments a year
- 14, which is 12 months plus holiday pay and Christmas pay. €12,880 a year at the minimum, about €1,073 a month if you spread it.
- Take-home at the minimum
- About €819 a month. Social security takes 11%, and income tax at this level is nil for a single person with no dependants. An estimate, not a promise.
- Meal allowance
- Up to €6.15 a day in cash, or €10.46 on a meal card, free of tax and paid for each day worked.
- Working week
- 40 hours, and no more than 8 hours a day.
- Paid holiday
- 22 working days a year, plus 13 public holidays.
Your contract decides. What is written in it prevails over anything on this page.
Minimum wage: Decreto-Lei 139/2025, in force 1 January 2026. Meal allowance ceilings: Portaria 51-B/2026/1. Hours and holiday: Código do Trabalho. The Azores and Madeira set a higher minimum, €966 and €980.
An explanation, not a document. A real offer arrives as a contract or promise of contract signed by the employer, with their company number on it, and it is the only version the consulate accepts. If anyone asks you to pay for an offer letter, it is not us and it is not real.
